Our Staff

No single expenditure at your event will be more of an outward representation of yourself… than your DJ! Wouldn't you agree that the DJ will ultimately make or break your party? Absolutely! Not all DJ’s are created equal! You have read or heard the horror stories about other DJ companies. Let VCI Audio Entertainment put your mind at ease. Our DJ's are all professionals with years of experience! We are interactive and know how to get the party going! We truly enjoy being DJ’s, and at the risk of being immodest, we're darn good at it!

Some of the things your DJ will do:

  • Always be honest
  • Arrive promptly and be ready to start at the agreed time.
  • Dress appropriately
  • Treat you and your guests with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Interpret the crowd's taste in music and adjust the music accordingly.
  • Provide insightful recommendations as the event progresses.
  • Try to be available for overtime should your event require it.
  • Play requests from you and your guests.
  • Follow the agenda, but be flexible.

Some of the things your DJ will NOT do:

  • Play songs you specifically request not to hear
  • Make a fool out of you or your guests
  • Eat, Drink Alcohol or Smoke
  • Use foul language

At VCI Audio Entertainment, you may reserve your specific DJ if you like (extra charge may apply). Or you can let us match one of our professionals with you based on our criteria of your music tastes, type of event, complexity of the show, and others. Either way, we suggest you meet with your DJ before you sign a contract.

Here are our most requested DJ’s:

Vince began DJ’ing in the early 80’s while in college. He holds an undergraduate degree in Engineering and an MBA. He’s DJ’d in dance clubs from New York to Seattle. He moved to the Treasure Valley in 1996 and founded VCI Audio Entertainment, Inc.

After a long career in high tech, he now manages VCI Audio Entertainment full-time.

He meets with most of our clients and taps his vast experience to help you plan your event. He is also a registered Minister and can officiate for your ceremony.

Eric Boyenger

Eric Boyenger joined VCI Audio Entertainment in 1998. He has been one of our most requested DJ’s.

His customer service skills are fantastic! He has a vast knowledge of 80’s music.

Jason Drew

Growing up out of mom's collection, I remember hearing everything from Engelbert Humperdinck to The Beatles while my sister was cranking out Donny Osmond and Kiss.

While still in high school I started on a student-run radio station and off I went! I spent 20 plus years in the radio industry, DJing my first wedding in 1990. I was voted “Personality of the Year” in 2004 and 2007 by The Idaho Broadcaster's Association. I would consider my expertise in rock and classic rock with a touch of Donny Osmond and The Black Eyed Peas.

The thing I enjoy most about providing wedding entertainment is the energy you get back when the dance floor is packed!

Troy DeRosier

Troy is new to the VCI team. He has been DJ’ing for over a year and has currently completed his wedding DJ training.

Troy’s contagious enthusiasm and high ethics impresses all of our clients.

James Ulmer

James Ulmer has over 22 years experience in the DJ industry.

James prides himself on customer service and customer satisfaction. James performs most any event with pride and enthusiasm, but truly excels as Master of Ceremonies, Coordination and DJ’ing Wedding Ceremonies & Receptions.

Always upbeat and professional in appearance and actions, James is a true asset to VCI Audio and will ensure your event is everything you dreamed it would be.

Trish Williams

Originally a California girl, I moved to Boise 14 years ago and fell in love with it's small city charm.

I appreciate all genres of music and am in touch with the unique atmosphere of your event.

My love of music and my event planning background are a perfect "marriage" for a successful, fun-filled party!

Rob Murray
